Section 27(1) in Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Orissa Rules, 2002
(1)When a child is brought before the Committee, the Committee shall assign the case to a social worker/case worker/Child Welfare Officer/Officer-in-charge, as the case may be, of the home or any appropriate recognized agencies for conducting inquiry.
