Section 29(1AA)(IA) in The Gujarat University Act, 1949

(IA)[ Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the Statutes in Schedule II shall, on the commencement of the Gujarat University (Amendment) Act, 1972 (Gujarat 6 of 1973), be deemed to be the Statutes providing for the constitution of the authorities of the University specified in clauses (v), (vi), (vii), (viii), (ix) and (x) of section 15 and for other matters for which provisions have been made in the said Schedule:
