Section 9(1) in The Orissa Glanders and Farcy Rules, 1941
(1)If a Veterinary Practitioner certifies under Sub-section (1) of Section 8 of the Act that a horse is suffering from glanders, farcy, surra or any other disease under the Act, the Inspector shall, save as otherwise provided in the proviso to the said section and in Rule 8 of these rules, cause it to be immediately destroyed in his presence.
