Regarding Construction Of Bypass On Nh-66 At Attingal, Kerala - Laid on 18 November, 2019
Seventeenth Loksabha > Title: Regarding construction of bypass on NH-66 at Attingal, Kerala - Laid ADV. ADOOR PRAKASH (ATTINGAL): The proposal for construction of a new bypass at Attingal on NH-66 in Kerala is long pending. The National Highways Authority of India is planning this project as part of widening of Kazhakkuttam-Kadambattukonam stretch of NH-66. 3-A notification issued for this project was lapsed again in June, 2019 due to delay in issue of 3-D notification. The stretch through Attingal is the major bottleneck and thousands of travelers on NH-66 in Kerala are facing acute difficulties. I have raised this issue in this august House and and submitted representations to the hon. Minister for Road Transport and Highways. It is a very serious issue in my constituency. I urge the Government to consider this project on priority and issue 3-A notification urgently for completion of the bypass without further delay.
