Information sought:
The appellant's father had two account nos. 1160104 matured on 14/10/2011 and 1160095 matured on 26/08/2011 and the passbooks which were with his mother were given by her to me for updation. Later on she also died and hence, the appellant had asked the department to update the Passbook of his late father's account.

Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing: The following were present Appellant: Dr. Sanjay Mathurdas Mapara through VC Respondent: Mr. S S Pawar CPIO's representative through VC The appellant stated that his father had two accounts in the post office in his individual name and after his death the original pass books were with his mother who handed over the same to him and after the death of his mother he had gone to the post office for updation of the pass books but they did not accede to his requests and he wants to know the reasons. The CPIO's representative stated that he will update the pass book as on 07/01/2012.Page 1 of 2
