Section 63 in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
63. Appointment of first Deans.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in section 27, section 28, and section 31, section 32, and section 34, the first Registrar, the first Comptroller and the first Director of Research, the first Director of Extension Education, and the first Director of Farms shall be appointed by the State Government in consultation with the Vice-Chancellor for a period not exceeding four years and on such terms and conditions as the State Government may decide.
