Section 18 in DELHI COMMON EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANTS ACT, 2000
18. Penalty for certain acts
Whoever –(a)Obstructs any person acting under the orders or directions of theappropriate authority from exercising his powers and performing hisfunctions under this Act; or(b)fails to furnish to any officer or other employee of the appropriateauthority any information required by him for the purpose of this Act; or(C)in giving any information which he is required to give under this Actknowingly or willfully makes a statement which is false in anymaterial particular,Shall be liable to pay a penalty which may extend up to five thousandrupees.
