- producing trees and drawing of tari.-Whoever-(a)taps any fan-producing tree or permits to be tapped any tari producing tree belonging to him or in his possession; or(b)draws tari from any tree or permits tari to be drawn from any tree belonging to him or in his possession;shall be punishable with imprisonment of either description to which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both.
