Section 3 in First Statutes of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad
3. Authorities of the Institute.
- The following shall be the authorities of the Institute, namely :(i)the Governing Council as constituted under section 11 of the Act ;(ii)the Senate as constituted under section 15 of the Act ;(iii)the Director as appointed under section 18 of the Act ;(iv)the Standing Committee of the Governing Council;(v)Activity Chairperson (Education), Deans of Institute Campuses, other Activity Chairpersons, Registrar, Heads of Departments and Discipline Leads; and(vi)such other Officers as may be appointed under the administrative and financial powers delegated by the Governing Council.
