Section 2(1)(j) in The Maharashtra State Reservation (of seats for admission in educational institutions in the State and for appointments or posts in the public services under the State) for Educationally and Socially Backward Category (ESBC) Act, 2014

(j)"reservation" means the reservation of seats for the members of Educationally and Socially Backward Category (ESBC) for admission in educational institutions in the State and for appointments or posts in the services under the State.
