(Ri dispensed with M/s Lexplexus for R2) This MFA is filed under Section 30(1> of W.C.Act against the judgment dated 07.03.2006 passed in WCA/SR/23/2003 on the file of the Labour Officer and Commissioner for Workmen Compensation, North Kannada District, Karwar, partly allowing the claim petition for compensation and seeking enhancement of compensation.
This appeal coming on for conciliation before Lok Aclalat after being referred vide order dated 23.03.20 10, the following order is passed.
CONCILIATION ORDER Learned counsel for Respondent-Insurance Company along with its representative.
2. After prolonged negotiations, the matter is settled. The appellant-claimant has agreed to receive and the Respondent Insurance Company has agreed to pay a global compensation of .l,30,000/-(Rupees One lakh Thirty thousand only) in addition to what has been awarded by the Tribunal, in full and final settlement of the claim. A joint Memo is filed on behalf of the parties to this effect. S 3
3. This miscellaneous first appeal stands disposed of in terms of the Joint memo. The award of the Tribunal shall stand modified accordingly. Draw up the award accordingly.
