(5)On receipt of the report under sub-section (4) the Senate shall, after such further inquiry, if any, as may appear to it to be necessary, decide whether the recognition should be withdrawn or suspended, as the case may be.Provided that the recognition shall not be withdrawn or suspended unless a resolution of the Senate to that effect is supported by a majority of at least two-thirds of the members present at the meeting of the Senate, such majority comprising of not less than one-half of the members of the Senate.
