Section 24(4)(a) in Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1961

(a)The term of office of a member referred to in clause [(d)] [Substituted for 'clause (a) or (d)' by section 2(1 )(b) of the Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Second Amendment Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 2 of 1984).] of sub-section (2) shall be three years or such shorter period as the Government may fix and such member shall be eligible for re-nomination.
