Section 43(n) in Jammu and Kashmir Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2014
(n)not carry out any surgical treatment on any juvenile or child without the previous consent of his parent or guardian, unless either the parent or guardian cannot be found and the condition of the juvenile or child is such that any delay shall, in the opinion of the medical officer, involve unnecessary suffering or injury to the health of the juvenile or child, or otherwise without obtaining a written consent to this effect from the Officer Incharge of the institution ;
