Section 681 in The Orissa Municipal Corporation Act, 2003
681. Limitation of liability of agent or trustee of owners.
- No person who receives the rent of any premises in any capacity described in items (i), (ii) and (iii) of Sub-clause (a) of clause (60) of Section 2 shall be liable to do anything which is required under this Act to be done by the owner, unless he has sufficient funds of or due to the owner to pay for the same.
