No suit for arrears to rent shall be heard ex parte unless the summons has been served at least 14 clear days before the date of hearing. Where it appears that the above period has not expired on such date the Court should proceed under Order IX, Rule 6, Clause (c), Civil Procedure Code. [G.L. 4/22, G.L. 2/29, G.L. 3/38, G.L. 1/43]
