[ Signed order is placed on the file. ] IN THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA CIVIL ORIGINAL JURISDICTION TRANSFER PETITION (CIVIL) NO. 1284 OF 2013 NAGAM KRISHNA VENI ... Petitioner VERSUS HARISH NAGAM ... Respondent O R D E R Learned counsel for the respondent-husband submits that the respondent has moved an application for withdrawal of Case No. 114A of 2012 filed by him before the II Additional Chief Judge, Family Court, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. He submits that the trial court could not pass any order on that application on account of the pendency of this petition.

He further submits that since the main petition itself is being withdrawn, this transfer petition is unnecessary and has become infructuous.

In the circumstances, we dismiss this transfer petition as infructuous and vacate the interim order.

The trial court shall now be free to pass an appropriate order for dismissal of the petition filed by the respondent.
