45. Head of Department.
(1)Each Department shall have a Head whose appointment, powers and duties shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes.(2)The Head of the Department shall be the Executive Head and shall be responsible for the faithful observance of Statutes, the Ordinances, and the Regulations relating to such Departments and for the organization and conduct of the teaching, Research and Extension work of the Department under him.(3)The Head of the Department shall also be responsible to the Director of School for the teaching, research and extension programmes entrusted to his Department.
