1. We have taken note of the prayers which are made in the instant application and which seeks the issuance of a direction requiring the University of Delhi to provide adequate number of Electronic Voting Machines ['EVMs'] needed for the upcoming Delhi High Court Bar Association ["DHCBA"] elections.
2. However, Mr. Rupal, learned counsel representing the University of Delhi, on instructions states that they had in possession only 300 operational EVMs' and of which 250 have been handed over to the Rohini Court Bar Association whose request had been received prior in point of time to that lodged by the DHCBA.
3. In view of the aforesaid, we find ourselves unable to grant the prayer as made or frame the direction as sought. We leave it open to This is a digitally signed order.

5. This is an application seeking postponement of the scheduled date of election from 21 March 2025 to any other date after 07 April 2025. The prayer is made on account of the season of Ramadan and Navratri and the alleged inconvenience that voters would face.
6. In our opinion, the prayer made is clearly misconceived since we find ourselves unable to comprehend how those two religious occasions could be said to be either an inconvenience or for that matter those events being liable to be viewed as disabling in character. The prayer as made is consequently rejected.
7. The Application stands dismissed.
