Section 25(1) in Gujarat Organic Agricultural University Act, 2017
(1)The Vice-Chancellor shall be the principal executive officer of the University and ex-officio Chairman of the Board, the Academic Council and other authorities and shall in the absence of the Chancellor, preside at the convocation of the University and confer degrees on persons entitled to receive them.
