Section 35(1) in Kerala General Sales Tax Rules, 1963
(1)when a check post is set upon a thorough fare or road under section 29, barriers may be erected, across the road or thorough fare, in the form of a contrivance to enable vehicle or vessel being intercepted, detained and searched.
