Section 6(2)(d) in The Bureau of Indian Standards (Recruitment to Scientific Cadre) Regulations, 2002

(d)The number of candidates to be called for interview shall be not more than four times the number of vacancies advertised in the respective disciplines in order of merit from among those who have secured at least fifty percent marks in the written examination.
