Section 40(1) in The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences, Bangalore Regulations, 2013
(1)The employees of the Institute who were appointed to various posts in the Institute prior to 1st January 2004, except those on deputation or on foreign service to the Institute, are entitled to pension and other pensionary benefits under the Central Civil Service (Pension) Rules, 1972 and the General Provident Fund (Central Services) Rules, 1960, and such employees shall continue to be governed by the said rules.
