Section 24O(1) in The Orissa Agricultural Produce Markets Rules, 1958
(1)Application for renewal of the license for continuing of the private market shall be made by the licensee in Form XII to the Secretary to Government, Cooperation Department through the Director at least 30 days before the date on which the license is due to expire.Provided that the authority competent to renew a license may, on the payment of penalty of Rs.5,000/-, by the applicant, entertain an application for renewal made after the date of expiry of the license.Provided further that no application for renewal of license shall be entertained after the expiry of 30 days from the date of expiry of the license or renewal and it shall be treated as a fresh application.
