Section 31(1) in Tamil Nadu Handloom Worker (Conditions of Employment and Miscellaneous Provisions) Rules, 1982
(1)An appeal against lay-off under section 38 shall be preferred to the Labour Officer having jurisdiction over the area within a week from the first day of such lay-off in Form X.
