Section 9(1) in Himachal Pradesh Prevention of Beggary Act, 1979
(1)When any person is convicted of any offence punishable under this Act by a court, such court may, if it thinks fit, at the time of passing the sentence of imprisonment on such person, also order that his residence, and any change of, or absence from, such residence, after release be notified according to the rules made under this Act for a period not exceeding five years from the date of expiration of that sentence.
