Section 20(2) in The Orissa Excise (Methyl Alcohol) Rules, 1976
(2)Prior to any operation involving removal of such alcohol from any cask or vat, he shall always gauge and prove the alcohol in such cask or vat and shall record the results in the concerned register making mention therein of any wastage which might have occurred since it was last gauged and proved.
