ORDER:
This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 3rd respondent in not allowing the students of the petitioner college - Sri Surya College of Nursing, for clinical training from 08.07.2019 without any written order.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Medical and Health produced written instructions stating that normally permission has to be obtained by the Nursing School Students from the Director of Medical Education for clinical training, but in the present case, since there is election code, in interest of students of petitioner college, they are permitted to undergo training pending DME permission. He further submits that during the course of training the petitioner college has not obtained any permission from the DME and that they are not sending the nursing students for three shifts from Monday to Saturday, as such, the hospital authorities have requested them to get permission from DME and send the students in three shifts from Monday to Saturday. He further submits that when the same was pointed out, the Management of petitioner college misbehaved with them and that as on today, no permission was granted to the petitioner college from the Director of Medical Education.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that they will make necessary application to the 2nd respondent. 2
Having regard to the facts and circumstances, since career of the students is involved, the petitioner is permitted to make necessary application to the 2nd respondent and on such application being filed, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the same and take action, within one week from the date of making application by the petitioner.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
