Section 5 in The U.P. National Security Prisoner (Conditions of Detention) Order, 1980
5. Diet.
- A National Security Prisoner shall be allowed diet on the scale prescribed in the Jail Manual for convicted prisoner. Such prisoners as are classified into the superior class may, however, be allowed diet as specified in Appendix 'A'. No National Security Prisoner shall be allowed to cook his own food.
