Section 23 in National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University Act, 1998
23. Appointment of first Director and first Registrar.
- Notwithstanding anything in this Act and the Statutes, the first Director and the first Registrar shall be appointed by the Chairman of the Society on a salary, to be fixed by him and each of the said officers shall hold office for a period to be fixed by him but not exceeding three years.
