Section 11 in The Sales Promotion Employees (Conditions Of Service) Act, 1976
11. Cognizance of offences.—
(1)No court inferior to that of a Metropolitan Magistrate or a Magistrate of the first class shall try any offence punishable under this Act.(2)No court shall take cognizance of an offence under this Act, unless the complaint thereof is made within six months of the date on which the offence is alleged to have been committed.
