Section 7(1) in The Orissa Vesting of Properties (in Grama Sasans) Rules, 1965
(1)The amount of compensation to which a person is entitled to, shall carry interest at six per centum per annum from the date of taking over possession of the property by the Grama Sasan concerned under Sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the Act until it has been tendered for payment.
