Section 1 in Andhra Pradesh Farmers Management of Irrigation Systems Act, 1997
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Farmers Management of Irrigation Systems Act, 1997.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Andhra Pradesh.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, appoint and they may appoint different dates for different areas and for different provisions.
