List has been revised but nobody is present on behalf of the applicants whereas learned Standing Counsel is present.
The applicants are before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceedings against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the judgment and order dated 27.11.1989 passed in Writ Petition No. 22208 of 1989.
From perusal of the record, it appears that either the order of the writ Court has been complied with or the parties have lost their interest.
In the circumstances, it is needless to keep pending this contempt application.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed.
However, in case, any relief still survives in the present application, the applicants shall be at liberty to file application for revival of the present application.
