- Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act 2 of 1974), all offences punishable under this Act shall be cognizable and non-bailable; except those under sections 3, 4, 5 and clause (c) of sub-section (5) of section 7.]
