Section 169(1) in Siliguri Municipal Corporation Act, 1990
(1)No person shall throw, empty or otherwise discharge into any water source, channel or municipal drain within or outside the municipal limit of the Corporation any matter, refuse, trade effluent or waste so as to cause pollution, health hazard or nuisance prejudicial to environment.
