42. Powers of the State Government to call for information.
(1)The State Government may call for information from the University relating to its working, functions, achievements, standard of teaching, examination and research or any other matters as it may consider necessary to judge the efficiency of the University in such form and within such time as may be prescribed by rules.(2)The University shall be bound to furnish (he information as required by the State Government under sub-section (1) within the prescribed time.
