Section 33(1) in The Merchant Shipping (Prevention of Pollution by Oil from Ships) Rules, 2010
(1)Every crude oil tanker of twenty thousand tonnes deadweight and above delivered after 1st June, 1982, as defined in sub-rule (34) of rule lA, shall be fitted with a cargo tank cleaning system using crude oil washing.
