71. District Education Officers' responsibility for examination.
- The District Education Officer is responsible for the conduct of departmental examinations and the award of middle scholarships in his district in accordance with the regulations contained in Bihar Education Code and subject to the powers exercised by the School Examination Board. He should consult the District Inspectress concerned with regard to the examination of pardanishin candidates, and make such arrangements as may be possible for their convenience.
