Section 26(a) in Tamil Nadu Panchayats Building Rules, 1997
(a)Clear aisles not less than 1.2 metres in width shall be provided at right angles to the line of seating in such number and in such manner that no seat shall be more than 3.8 metres away from an aisles measured in the line of seating.
