(2)Every owner of a sailing vessel or boat or craft failing under clause (b) of section 435B of the Act shall cause to ascertain its tonnage in accordance with [the Merchant Shipping (Sailing Vessels) Rules, 1977] [Substituted by Amendment in 1998 vide G.S.R. 774(E), dated 28th December, 1998 for 'the Merchant Shipping (Tonnage Measurement of Sailing Vessels) Rules, 1960'.]
