18. Power to Registrar and Sub-Registrar to examine any person on oath. -
For the purposes of an inquiry under this Act relating to a disqualification for holding a licence a Registrar or a Sub-Registrar shall have and may exercise the same powers as are vested in a Civil Court under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, in respect of enforcing the attendance of any person and examining him on oath.
