By consent of both sides, the writ petitions themselves are taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. These writ petitions have been filed for a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to ensure the implementation of the new revised 3/7 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP(MD). No.25151 of 2024 syllabus for the Technical studies in Type Writing - Shorthand and Computer in the upcoming examination scheduled to be held during February 2025, to release the model question papers and upload the format of new syllabus forthwith.
3. It is the grievance of the petitioners that the petitioner in WP(MD) No.25151/2024 is the Typewriting, Shorthand and Computer Institutes Association and the petitioner in WP(MD) No.25207/2024 is running an institution. It is their grievance that new syllabus has not been updated for several years and now the monitoring committee has been appointed in this regard. It is the apprehension of the petitioners that though new syllabus has been introduced, the same has not been updated so far and old syllabus may be used for the upcoming examinations.
4. The proposed respondent would submit that an expert committee has not considered the objections submitted by other associations in this regard and hence, they also want to implead them as a party in these writ petitions.
