Section 24(3) in The West Bengal Primary Education Act, 1973
(3)It shall be the duty of the Evaluation Committee -(a)to assess from time to time the standard of instruction in a primary school with reference to the norms and objectives set by the Board and to suggest improvement on the basis of such assessment;(b)to advise the Board on such other matter relating to progress, improvement and development of the academic aspect of primary education as may be assigned to it by the Board.
