257. Least practicable nuisance to be caused.
(1)In carrying out the duties imposed on the Corporation by clauses (1) and (3) of section 7 or exercising the powers conferred upon it by sections 231, 232, 238, 251, 269 and 270 the Corporation shall not cause any nuisance which in the circumstances of the case can reasonably be avoided.(2)The Commissioner shall make reasonable compensation to any person who has sustained damage occasioned by the carrying out of any such operations:Provided that no compensation shall be claimed or paid for inconvenience unavoidably caused.
