The date for the execution of a sentence of death confirmed by the High Court shall be fixed by the Court of Sessions and such date shall be the twenty-first day from the date of receipt of the order by the latter Court, or if the twenty-first day is a Sunday or other public holiday, the next succeeding working day. The date shall be specified in the warrant addressed to the superintendent of the jail in which the convict is confined.
