1. At the outset, learned Senior Counsel Mr. Ravi Bhansali assisted by Mr. Vipul Dharnia appearing for the respondents submits that the respondents are prepared to conduct the Department Promotional Committee for promotion on the post of Chief Engineers strictly in accordance with law.
2. Learned Senior Counsel Mr. Manoj Bhandari assisted by Mr. Govind Lal appearing for the petitioner is satisfied with the submissions made by learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. In light of such limited submission made by learned counsel for both the parties, the present petition is disposed of while directing the respondents to conduct the DPC for promotion on the post of Chief Engineers strictly in accordance with law, as per the assurance given by the learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the contesting respondents.
4. All pending applications also stand disposed of.
