Section 174G in Selected Statutes (Statutes framed under the Bombay University Act, 1914)
174G.
One-third of members of the Students' Executive Union shall form a quorum for a meeting of the Union. All questions shall be decided by a majority of votes of the members present at the meeting of the Union by show of lands. In the case of an equality of votes, the Chairman of the meeting shall have a second or casting vote.
