(2)It shall be the duty of the Deputy Superintendents strictly to enforce or cause to be so enforced, all law, rules, regulations, directions and, orders, respectively, relating to the management of Jails and prisoners and applicable to the Jail or to any prisoner confined therein, for the time being in force.
