- The Provincial Government has decided that Indian gentlemen appointed to be or to act as District Magistrates or District and Sessions Judges or Additional Judges, Superintendents or Additional Superintendents should be addressed as "Mr." and "Esquire." This mode of address should also be adopted in the case of all Indian gentlemen who are members of the covenanted Civil Service or of any Imperial Service, irrespective of their official rank.
